At Venture Tahiti, we always recommend purchasing travel insurance. A travel insurance policy designed for long-haul, international travel that protects not only your pre-paid expenses, but also your personal health, is the best way to protect your Tahiti travel investment.
If you do not purchase travel insurance that covers these expenses, you will be personally responsible for all expenses associated with the cost of care, including hospitalization, confinement or repatriation.
Given the exorbitant costs of medical evacuation or hospitalization, even if you choose not to insure your whole trip, please consider purchasing a policy that provides health and medical coverage. Please note that health and medical coverage alone will not cover your prepaid trip costs, which is why we recommend full coverage.
