The romantic InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso spa is the only property on Bora Bora to feature only overwater accommodations, and their luxurious villas will mesmerize guests once they are encircled by contemporary designs and chic, exotic comforts. With breathtaking views of striking Mt Otemanu enveloped by the sparkling sapphire seas, this slice of Bora Bora’s paradise is perfect for couples – especially lively and adventurous travelers. It’s one of the only properties on the island with a real “heart” where guest can gather to exchange tales of wanderlust and island exploits. The InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa is also the eco-friendliest property on Bora Bora, utilizing deep ocean water to power their air-conditioning system. Their friendly staff has won numerous Travel and Leisure’s “Best” awards over the years, including Best Service, Best Resorts in the South Pacific, and the Top 100 Hotels in the World. They also feature the top Thalasso spa on the island which is the first in the world to utilize deep ocean water and minerals in their signature treatments. So, be sure to pamper yourself with at least one treatment at the Thalasso spa.
Located closest to shore, these units are convenient to the resort common areas and face the beach and lush grounds. The lagoon water tends to be a bit shallow, so Emerald is a great category for travelers who aren’t confident swimmers.
The Sapphire villas have the same design and layout as the Emerald, but face across the lagoon and offer lovely views of the deep blue water.
The Diamond villas are a bit farther out on the pontoon and face the main island of Bora Bora (but not Mt Otemanu).
The Diamond Otemanu villas offer spectacular views of Mt Otemanu.
The interior of these units is the same as all previous categories, but the deck has been enlarged to include a private plunge pool facing the sandy beach.
The same design as the Overwater Villa with Pool, but views facing the sapphire lagoon.
